They are a bit camera shy but they are real. Angus' geese kindly remind us about the Goose Fair origins.
After resting and feeding overnight, the geese rapidly put on weight and were ready for the market in Newcastle.
 
 
Jim Wardle narrates, Ovingham Drama Group enact. And, as tradition demands, it all ended very happily.
A bit of rain didn't stop Ovingham and District Choir. Their harmonies were superb.
